| I am very pleased to introduce myself to you. I am the President of the Korea Land Corporation (KLC), Lee Jong-Sang. |
| Beginning as Land Fund in 1975, the corporation was later renamed from the Korea Land Development Corporation into the Korea Land Corporation in 1996. In the meantime, the corporation has done it's utmost to develop the national economy and promote public welfare by carrying out numerous land policy projects and providing large quantities of land as required. |
| The KLC has sought to create a city model that is suitable to live in, where cutting-edge technology and the environment stand in harmony, by building new towns, multi-functional administrative city, and Innovation Cities, while pursuing balanced national development. At the same time, the KLC has promoted South-North economic cooperation, and enhanced Korean prestige in the world through the Gaeseong Industrial Complex, Free Economic Zones, and overseas new towns. |
With a particular emphasis on the stabilization of the real estate market, the KLC will make every effort to provide affordable, good quality city sites, SOC sites, and industrial sites in a stable manner, actively using the capital and land banking systems we have accumulated to date.
The KLC promises to make more of an effort to remunerate the love and trust of everyone by putting ¡°service management, advanced management, and performance management¡± in practice. We intend to become an advanced, first-rate public corporation that is trusted by the government and the people.
Thank you. |
