| Land stockpile is a system that the Korea Land Corporation (KLC) buys and stores a land with high future demand expected at a reasonable price in advance and later sells or leases the prospective land to demanders such as a public project operator, private developer or individual who need it.

KLC aims to carry out public projects smoothly by securing public land at an early stage and leading to an effective development and supply of the purposed land as well as a desirable land development.

KLC aims to stabilize the real estate market through regulation on land demand and supply as the public institution secures appropriate amount of land site in advance and develops and supplies the land when demand occurs.

KLC is supporting the stabilization of real estate market by purchasing 14.25 million §³ of land since its foundation and supplying it to end users, and currently holding 800 thousand §³ of land as of September 2006.
